The main purpose of your role
The core function of this newly created role requires a highly skilled and motivated email marketing specialist, with experience of using Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE, formerly Pardot).
You’ll take charge of planning, creating, and optimising automated end-to-end email marketing campaigns that reach, engage, generate, and nurture leads from our international B2B audience – while overseeing campaign management processes.
On occasion, you may need to work outside your normal working hours to support international business needs and time zones and attend a nominated local office.
What will you be doing as an Email Marketing Specialist?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end campaign management process, including campaign planning, scheduling, executing, post-campaign analysis, and optimising, to boost engagement, conversions, and support outbound sales.
- Collaborating with different teams to create and schedule targeted workflows and drip campaigns via marketing automation tools (preferably MCAE, formerly Pardot) – including lead nurturing, customer onboarding, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Working closely with the CRM team, to ensure MCAE integrates smoothly with our CRM (Salesforce) for accurate lead tracking and reporting.
- Segmenting email lists by demographics, behaviours, and engagement history to deliver personalised, relevant content.
- Ensuring all campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Conducting A/B tests on email campaigns to determine the most effective strategies and improve performance.
- Monitoring key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and using insights to optimise campaigns.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of campaign assets and communications.
- Collaborating with the wider team on event-related communications and promotion – building Engagement Studio (nurture stream) templates and campaigns to support event participation and follow-up.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest in marketing automation, email trends, and campaign management to refine strategies.
