The main purpose of your role

The Junior Client Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, growth, and retention of Mauve's Tier 4 client accounts.

You’ll also support other Client Managers during absences and collaborate with the Global Client Partner and Client Services teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

This role offers the opportunity to learn through shadowing experienced Client Managers and develop strong client relationships, grow accounts into higher tiers, identify growth opportunities, and support aftersales queries.

Flexibility is key – you may occasionally work outside standard hours to accommodate client needs across time zones.

What will you be doing as the Junior Client Manager?

  • Serve as the primary contact for Tier 4 client accounts
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Set up services for managed accounts with accuracy and compliance
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Generate referrals and support account growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery
  • Resolve client issues in conjunction with Client Services
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular updates
  • Conduct client check-ins as per Global Client Partner guidelines
  • Represent Mauve at regional events, trade shows, and online forums
  • Cover PTO for Client Managers to gain experience with faster-paced accounts
  • Track and report client activities using Salesforce
  • Maintain Salesforce accuracy and a healthy sales pipeline
  • Present regular reports on account status and performance
  • Collaborate with Inbound and Outbound teams for smooth handovers
  • Provide feedback to marketing via Global Client Partners
  • Track individual expenses for budget reporting.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree educated and minimum 1 year's experience in a client facing B2B role.

Desirable

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Knowledge and experience

Essential

  • Experience working for a global organisation.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Sage People.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a B2B sales environment or allied service such as business development, client services, or products.

Desirable

  • Experience in the professional services sector.
  • Experience of successfully managing and growing client accounts.
