Mauve supports record-breaking Highest Harp concert atop Mt Kilimanjaro, raising money for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland
Mauve supports the Highest Harp Concert Team in its fundraising initiative for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
This month, friends of Mauve aim to break their own Guinness World Record by performing a harp concert at the highest ever altitude, in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
In 2018, Siobhan Brady and team achieved a Guinness World Record by performing the Highest Harp concert at 16,000ft in the Himalayas, as part of a fundraising project for Cystic Fibrosis UK.
Leading the project was Desmond Gentle, who was so thrilled with their achievements, that he immediately began planning an expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro, which peaks at an astounding 19,340 ft, to raise more funds for Cystic Fibrosis. However, just 10 days after Desmond’s return to London, he sadly passed away suddenly.
In memory of Desmond, Siobhan and The Highest Harp Concert Team are now endeavouring to break their own Guinness World Record, carrying the harp to perform at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, raising vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
This unique initiative highlights the continuous dedication and determination of The Highest Harp Concert Team to raise money for those affected by cystic fibrosis.
The team will climb Mount Kilimanjaro to perform at a record-breaking height by the end of July.
By supporting this cause, Mauve Group hopes to help raise awareness and funds for individuals and families who are affected by cystic fibrosis.
