Mauve UK Granted New Tier 2 Visa General License for Non-EU Workers

Mauve Group are pleased to announce that we have been granted a new Tier 2 General License visa category in the UK.

With this new capability, Mauve Corporate Systems UK Ltd is able to employ expatriate staff in the UK by requesting a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) for the worker.

Provided the worker meets the eligibility criteria and Mauve Group can justify the role, this new category means we are now able to employ non-EU workers in the UK under an Employer of Record Solution.

Tier 2 (General) Visa

Currently, all non-EU citizens must have a work permit to work in the UK. As a result of Brexit, all non-UK citizens must have a work permit to work in the UK after 31^st December 2020.

The Tier 2 immigration path is the main route for skilled non-EU workers with a job offer in the UK. Applicants are required to have visa sponsorship from an employer (in this case Mauve UK) and the visa is connected to a specific role.

A Tier 2 (General) visa allows the worker to work and reside in the UK for 5 years and 14 days, or the time provided on their certificate of sponsorship plus 1 month – whichever is shorter.

Employer of Record

An Employer of Record solution allows you to focus on the day-to-day management of the staff member, while Mauve Group handles the local employment, payroll and administration of all HR tasks. Mauve Group manages its solutions in-house and carries out due-diligence checks on all local partners, providing you with peace of mind that your worker is fully compliant in-country.
