Ann Ellis, CEO and Co-founder of Mauve Group
Ann Ellis is the CEO and co-founder of global organisation Mauve Group, having been at the helm of the business for over 27 years. Mauve Group is a leading provider of global HR, employment, and expansion services.
Ann’s inspiring journey from Welsh farming family and headteacher, to the C-suite of a global workforce solutions company began at the age of nine with a dream of being an entrepreneur. Fast-forward to 1996, and the first incarnation of Mauve Group was born in a tiny cupboard-sized office in Northern Italy – where Ann was living at the time. She was Mauve’s first and, initially, only “back-office” employee, supporting workers on telecom projects with local payroll, visas, contract-raising, and more.
Over the years, demand for Mauve Group’s workforce solutions snowballed as globalisation became the norm in business. The organisation's evolution into new markets in over 150 countries worldwide, spanning six sectors, and across more than 70 different sectors has afforded Ann incomparable global expertise.
Today, Ann’s role as CEO remains as energetic as ever, as she continues to be profoundly involved in the organisation at every level. Ann has been featured a number of times on BBC Radio Cymru, including on iconic broadcaster Beti George’s Beti a’I Phobol programme. Ann has delivered keynote talks around the world at events such as the Millennials Engagement Congress in Colombia and Think Women in London; sharing her learnings and experiences of growing a global organisation.
