ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) is a regional organisation that unites ten neighbouring countries of Southeast Asia. The organisation, formed in 1967, was created to address the region’s economic, political and security issues.

In 2020, despite the impact of COVID-19 on the region’s economy, ASEAN received $70 billion in new investments, representing the largest FDI inflow of any emerging market region. Want to learn more?

Investing in ASEAN is a book providing readers with an overview of business in Southeast Asia – including specific economic sector profiles, trade statistics, benefits and practicalities of doing business in ASEAN, and details of business opportunities. It also includes insights from top regional business leaders. The book will be distributed via the ASEAN Secretariat, as well as various trade associations, business councils, embassies and international chambers. It will also appear on a dedicated smartphone app and across a range of virtual events and channels.

Readers can find Mauve’s editorial, ‘Expanding Horizons in ASEAN Since 1996’, located on page 41 of the book. It features an interview from co-founder and CEO, Ann Ellis and Global Account Manager – ASEAN Lucia Tann.
