Salary

  • Cyprus: €31,052 - €32,470per annum (grade 5).
  • Hungary: 12,751,650 HUF - 13,334,104 HUF per annum (grade 5).
  • Kenya: 3,765,215 KES - 3,937,204 KES per annum (grade 5).
  • Italy: €29,810 - €31,171 per annum (grade 5).
  • UAE: 199,541 AED - 208,656 AED per annum (grade 5).
  • South Africa: ZAR 520,950- ZAR 544,745 per annum (grade 5).

For countries not listed above, salary will be aligned to the successful candidate’s location and local market conditions.

The main purpose of your role

The New Business Development Lead is responsible for leading a team of New Business Executives to drive client acquisition and achieve ambitious sales targets. The role focuses on generating new business through outbound activity, converting inbound leads, and ensuring alignment with the company's sales strategy and growth objectives.

As a player-coach, the New Business Development Lead is accountable for both personal and team sales performance while providing leadership, coaching, and performance management. The role works closely with other departments to improve sales processes, maximise revenue opportunities, and support business growth across global markets.

What will you be doing as the New Business Development Lead?

  • Leading the new client acquisition initiative.
  • Developing and setting effective new business-sales processes to improve lead conversion across regions, aligning with the overall sales strategy.
  • Shaping and maintaining the new business sales process, collaborating with other departments to maximise revenue and crafting region-specific approaches as required.
  • Establishing event lead conversion strategies with clear objectives linked to brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Recruiting, training, and onboarding top sales talent for the new business sales team, delivering comprehensive training programs and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Providing ongoing coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering professional growth and career development.
  • Monitoring and evaluating team performance, setting clear expectations, and providing constructive feedback for improvement when necessary.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key prospects and stakeholders to drive lead conversions and business growth.
  • Representing the company at events, trade shows, and forums to promote Mauve’s services, including possible speaking engagements.
  • Ensuring accurate pipeline data entry in Salesforce, regularly monitoring and reporting on performance metrics to the Global Head of Sales.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient service for prospective clients.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or have comparable training/work experience (minimum of 3 years in Employer of Record sector/industry or B2B HR services sales).

Knowledge & experience

Essential

  • At least 3 years' experience in Employer of Record (EOR) sector/industry or B2B HR services sales.
  • Evidence of success as an individual sales contributor.

Desirable

  • Demonstrable experience with consistent successful generation and conversion of leads, as well as successful outreach and conversion to new business.

Required competencies

Core competencies

  • A proactive, flexible approach to managing workloads with conflicting deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Strong people leadership abilities with previous experience managing a sales team.

Technical competencies

  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office), advanced English communication skills, and leadership abilities.
