Celebrating Mauve’s successes from 2023.

Published on

As we wrap up the year, it is time to reflect on the last 12 months of Mauve’s greatest achievements. Mauve Group grew in all capacities in 2023, including services, partnerships, accolades, and employees, alongside launching a brand new website! Read on to find out this year's highlights.

Expanding our business globally

Mauve Group has continued to grow globally in 2023 – adding 10 Employer of Record (EoR) solutions to our global roster and diversifying our service portfolio, to enable us to support our clients’ international ventures across all markets.

To support Mauve’s growing number of clients across all time zones, we’ve increased our headcount by 16% in 2023 – stay tuned to our ‘Careers’ page for future roles at Mauve. With additional dedicated sales and support staff located in targeted regional hubs, Mauve has completed a record number of check-ins with our clients and workers in 2023. Further workforce expansion is already planned for the coming year.

Global awards and accreditations

In 2023, Mauve Group’s trophy cabinet has grown considerably. One notable highlight includes gaining ISO 27001 certification. Awarded by the British Assessment Bureau, this certification is the international standard for managing risks related to the security of information and data held by an organisation.

In the awards department, Mauve Group was announced as a finalist for all five awards we were nominated for and went on to win four of them.

Our first award win of the year was at the prestigious INT-X Awards – hosted by Centuro Global back in May, where our CEO Ann Ellis and PR & Communications Manager Rosalind Smith collected the award for the ‘Most Innovative Workforce Solutions’ .

In June, Mauve proudly won the ‘Excellence in Global Mobility, Global Policy Design/Implementation Award at the Think Global People Awards. Mauve Group was presented the award by Demetra Marcantonio, Director – KPMG Global Mobility Services who explained why the judges had selected Mauve:

“Given the nature of volatility in the current geopolitical world and the need for organisations to ensure mobility globally, this innovative employment solution provides an inspirational approach for all organisations wishing to operate effectively without jeopardising compliance requirements.”

In November, Mauve went on to collect two further accolades just a week apart. We won Bronze in the ‘Best Employer of Record Service Provider Category’ at the HRM Asia Readers’ Choice Awards. Then within a matter of days, Mauve collected another accolade at the Go Global Awards, hosted by the International Trade Council, where we ranked top for outstanding ‘Global Remote Work Solutions’.

Mauve’s brand new website goes LIVE!

In September, we announced the launch of Mauve’s new website. The Marketing & PR team worked closely with developers, to create a new user-friendly website – complete with a host of new features and easy navigation to pages such as ‘Services’ and ‘Country Finder’. The revamped website has proved to be a real hit, as we have seen a 92.6% increase in year-to-date user views.

Global events

This year, Mauve Group has hosted events in London, Cardiff, and Dubai, following the announcement of Mauve Group’s new Welsh company, Mauve Cymru – to emphasise that any business of any size can expand overseas.

Partnering with the likes of NatWest and Cardiff and Vale College (CaVC), Mauve CEO Ann Ellis shared insights about how to build a global workforce and the process of navigating international business expansion. Read on to find out the key takeaways from the session.

Successful partnerships

Mauve wrapped up the year with a total of 92 Trustpilot reviews – over 96% of them receiving 4 and 5 stars. Topics driving our 5-star reviews include comments about Mauve’s customer service team being supportive, responsive, and professional.

Supporting our local and global communities

Throughout 2023, Mauve Group has focused on partnering with organisations and charities that directly impact and support local communities, such as:

1) Team Wales: This year, Mauve Cymru partnered with Team Wales in the run-up to its athletes participating in the Trinbago 2023 Youth Games. The sports event offers a platform to young people from a diverse range of backgrounds, to showcase their emerging talents. We are proud to be partnering with Team Wales over the next three years.

2) Highest Harp Concert: This fundraising initiative for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland involved attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Highest Harp Concert. By supporting this cause, Mauve Group hopes to help raise awareness and funds for individuals and families who are affected by cystic fibrosis.

3) 2B Enterprising: Mauve has partnered with a local primary school, to support children (i.e., the next generation of entrepreneurs and working professionals) with learning business enterprise skills from a young age – using educational resources, workshops, and books, to encourage the development of these important skills.
